Powerful, elegant and long-lived, Ripe del Falco is expression of Ippolito family’s long wine tradition. Selection in the vineyards of the best Gaglioppo grapes, care in the winery and a long wait give to us a charming, austere and intriguing wine.

Grapes variety: Gaglioppo (100%), from a vineyards more than 40 years old.

Alcohol: 13,5% by vol. Wine philosophy: any vintage is a small step towards the oenological technical evolution. Ripe del Falco, a precious selection of unforgettable vintages, contains in a glass, our wine’s story.

Characteristics: ruby red colour with garnet hues due to the wise ageing. Perfumes of great complexity and intensity, dried rose petals in color, hints of wild berries, licorice, leather, tobacco, spices. The taste is intense, warm, savory, very fine tannins and a very persistent final. Suggestions: excellent with braised meat, game and mature cheese. Ideal also as meditation wine.

Ideal serving temperature: 18° C (65° F).
