Description
A bold and expressive Sardinian red made from Cannonau and local native grapes, grown on volcanic soils in the Terre di Ossidiana around Monte Arci and the Tirso Valley.

Winemaking
The grapes are pressed and fermented with skin maceration for up to 10 days, followed by gentle pressing to preserve balance and character.
Ageing
Aged in stainless steel, followed by 6 months in second-passage barriques and a few additional months in bottle.
Appearance
Deep ruby red with garnet highlights.
Aroma
Intense and elegant, with generous notes of red fruit, balsamic hints and a finish of myrtle and Mediterranean scrub.
Palate
Decisive and persistent on the palate, with rich fruit character and smooth, enveloping tannins.
Food Pairing
A great match for grilled meats, rich pasta dishes and flavourful fish stews.
