2024 Vintage Report
The 2024 vintage began with a cool, wet spring that replenished water reserves but required close attention in the vineyard due to increased disease pressure. A warm, temperate summer followed, allowing the grapes to ripen steadily and evenly without the extremes seen in recent years. Harvest took place later than usual, but the extended growing season brought added depth, freshness and refined aromatics to the fruit. While yields were modest, the overall quality was widely praised, with the resulting wines showing remarkable precision, purity and excellent potential for ageing.

Barbera d’Asti Il Sogno DOCG 2024 is made from vines over 35 years old, grown in Castagnole and Costigliole d’Asti at elevations above 280 metres. The wine reflects the estate’s focus on sustainable viticulture and careful hand harvesting. The result is a structured yet supple Barbera, layered with dark fruit, spice and earthy elegance, offering immediate appeal while also rewarding time in the cellar.

Tasting Notes
Deep red in colour, with delicate aromas of black fruit and a subtle hint of vanilla on the nose. On the palate, it is smooth, expressive and well balanced, with a refined structure and lasting character.
