A single-vineyard red wine made from 100% Gaglioppo, one of Calabria’s most historic and noble grape varieties, grown exclusively on the Mancuso estate in the heart of the Cirò region.

Winemaking
The grapes are left to ripen on the hillsides until the second half of October, then carefully selected at harvest. A long maceration on the skins is followed by 12 months of ageing in oak barrels, giving the wine its elegant, smooth and well-rounded character.

Tasting Notes
Ruby red in colour, with elegant aromas of wild cherry and plum, layered with subtle hints of spice and vanilla. On the palate, it is full, smooth and delicately tannic.

Food Pairing
An excellent match for game, roast meats and braised dishes.

Serving Temperature
Best served at 18°C.
